Ride With The Pro Event
In the event of the professional rider being unable to attend the Ride With The Pro Event through illness, injury or force majeure, yourbiketravel shall substitute said Pro with a top level UK UCI Continental or an Elite UK team rider. There will be no cancellation option should said pro be unable to attend for any of the reasons that appear above. Due to intimacy provisions and table constraints the dinner with the pro is only available to riders. Non rider partners will not be able to take part in the said dinner. Each group of (maximum) 15 riders will have one dinner with the pro. Riders will be split into groups according to riding ability.
Deposits and payment plans
We require a 20% deposit for all holidays/trips. The five remaining payments shall be made on a monthly basis to complete full payment of holiday. Final payment must be received no later than 21 days before travelling.
If you fail to pay in full before departure, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and your deposit will be forfeited. Please see charges below for customer cancellations. Should you or any member of your party be forced to cancel your booking, we must receive notice by email from the person making the original booking. The cancellation will take effect from the date that such notice is received at our offices, and the following cancellation charges will apply.
The charges are expressed as a percentage of the total holiday price.
Cancellation of holiday packages / events by yourbiketravel.
Cancellation by Yourbiketravel
Very occasionally it may be necessary for us to cancel a specific event. We reserve the right to do this for any reason up to 30 days prior to the departure date. In these circumstances, you will be entitled to: a) Book any other available package from us (where the cost is less, you will be refunded the difference, but where the cost is more, you will be expected to pay the additional cost); or b) receive a full refund of all monies paid. In the event that it is necessary for yourbiketravel to cancel a specific tour, we will not be liable for any flight costs incurred by the customer. For this reason it is recommended flight booking is delayed until the tour is confirmed
Alterations to itinerary and delays
Yourbiketravel always endeavours to ensure that all items of your holiday package are not altered. However, occasions may arise when we cannot follow our advertised itineraries, or cannot maintain our advertised schedules. Our itineraries are put forward as a statement of intention only, not as representations or undertakings that they will be carried out. If any additional expenses are incurred through delay, accident or disruptions of planned itineraries beyond our control, e.g. war, threat of war, riots, civil strike, terrorist activity, strikes, governmental action, natural disasters, fire, technical problems of transport, closure of ports or airports, cancellation or changes of schedule by scheduled airlines, or similar events beyond our control, such expenses are to be borne by the clients. Yourbiketravel shall not be liable for any losses incurred in relation to the above for any hotel bookings, bike hire and airport pickups. We shall endevour to amend any booking due to delays in relation to the above but the customer shall be liable for any extra expenses incurred by Yourbiketravel.
Additional expenses & bike hire
Any expenses incurred by a guest, including repair costs for any damage to or theft of hired bikes or other equipment, are due at time of departure by the person who booked the holiday or package and may be settled by credit card with a member of yourbiketravel staff or the relevant bike hire company at the location.
Yourbiketravel make every attempt to organise safe group rides on a daily basis, we cannot guarantee rider safety as rides use public roads, often in mountainous areas, and can include groups of varying abilities. By booking any package or event with yourbiketravel you accept that that cycling on public roads, particularly in mountainous areas, is an activity with a danger of personal injury and even death. You confirm that you are aware of and accept such risk and will be responsible for your own actions and involvement in this activity.
Photographs, likenesses or images of participants secured or taken on any of our holiday packages or events may be used by the company without remuneration in all media for bona fide promotional or marketing purposes.
I realize and accept that taking part in any package or event organised by yourbiketravel is at my own risk and that neither yourbiketravel nor any agent, employee or other client is responsible for my safety. I further accept that yourbiketravel is there only to give geographical route guidance, to arrange any transfers and/or accommodation. Even though guided rides are offered, I take part in these rides totally at my own risk.
I acknowledge that I will be participating in an organised cycling holiday package or event with yourbiketravel which will involve strenuous physical activity.
I have been advised by yourbiketravel that I need to be sufficiently fit and not suffering with any illness that could be exacerbated by the types of activities undertaken on the holiday packages or events and that if in any doubt, I should seek medical advice before making a booking.
In the case of a booking being made by an individual person on behalf of another person or group of persons, then the person who is making the booking must have the authority of all the other people to accept these terms and conditions on the group’s behalf.
I have also been advised by yourbiketravel that I must purchase sufficient medical travel insurance to cover all medical expenses, loss of earnings, cost of care, any loss or damage to my equipment, any liability I may incur against a third party and cancellation/curtailment of the holiday/trip should I need it.

I CONFIRM THAT I WILL ARRANGE INSURANCE AGAINST SUCH RISKS
I hereby agree that except in respect of death or personal injury caused by negligence of yourbiketravel, neither yourbiketravel nor its employees or agents will have any liability (whether in contract or tort including negligence) for any loss, damage, injury or death I may suffer in connection with any holiday/trip organised by yourbiketravel. Furthermore, yourbiketravel is not responsible for any failure by me to take out the appropriate insurance.
I agree that the/any contract between yourbiketravel and I will be governed by English law and that any matter or dispute in connection with this contract will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English court.
Passports, visas and health requirements
A valid British Passport is required to gain entry to Spain. If you need to apply for a new passport or for its renewal, make such application at least eight weeks before departure. Foreign nationals are advised to contact their local Spanish Embassy to check their visa requirements. At the time of publication, (June 2013) no vaccinations are required for holidays taken from this website. The Department of Health provides health advice for travellers and online application for an EHIC card giving citizens of member states reciprocal health benefits within the EU. yourbiketravel reserves the right to increase or decrease advertised prices at any time. However, once you have booked your holiday and paid the deposit, the price of your holiday as shown on your booking confirmation is fully guaranteed and will not be subject to any surcharge.
If you have a complaint whilst on a holiday package or event, you must report it at the time to a member of yourbiketravel staff in order to offer a suitable solution. yourbiketravel shall endeavour to do all in its power to resolve your issue. However, should you wish to escalate the complaint please forward in writing to yourbiketravel headquarters in the UK for it to be assessed. Escalated complaints should be sent here.
